How do arctic animals avoid freezing in a land
of ice and snow? Are there really ice worms? Who makes their home
on the top of the world? Through discussion and an ice chest filled
with carvings and puppets of polar bears, snowy owls, wolves,
foxes and more, the children will learn the cold hard facts about
warming adaptations. The culture, art and survival skills of the
people who live in the land of the midnight sun are also explored.
A creative drawing project concludes the hour.
Ages kindergarten and up.
